We had our first practice in ages and Con brought along his new acoustic bass. A good time had by all. Reminded me of some of those bands I used to go and see at ATP back in the day!

We're playing at Hamptons (Southampton) on Tuesday 17th May, supporting Arp Attack (saw them at our last gig - they rock) and Bravestation (very excited to be seeing these guys for the first time - they sound awesome).
We're on first so turn up early to avoid disappointment. Will hopefully get a soundcheck this time so there's every chance you should be able to hear Jim sing!!!

Had a top night at the Road to Blissfields show last night - so encouraging to see so many great Southampton based acts. A big well done to LST music - hope they have a fantastic time at the Blissfields festival.
With every gig we're learning more about the pros and cons of our live setup. Mixing on stage is proving slightly problematic - with a lack of vocal volume being the main issue last night. I think we're going to have to think about a system whereby all of the live stuff goes straight to the mixing desk (like a normal band) and then maybe we can tap off the signals and feed them into the computer.
Time for a bit of internet based research.....

Just trying to get my head round the new virb way of building websites. Early days yet but its looking like a great way to put some pages together with a minimum of fuss. After all I want to spend my hobby time doing music not IT!
That reminds me - back to guitar practice.
